In September 2026, I visited the Oshika area of Ishinomaki to see an Eleven-Headed Kannon statue I had heard about from my father years ago. However, the hall was closed, and I couldn't see the statue. I later learned that visits had to be arranged in advance.

Since I had come all the way to Oshika, I headed to nearby Kugunari Beach.

As the sun gradually descended toward the west, its light reflected off the wet sand, spreading a bright, almost dazzling glow across the shore.
